Wisdom Through Seasons - Episode # 5
My episode explores the importance of wisdom and how you can cultivate it throughout life. Based on your personality, are you someone who likes to observe the people around you and learn from them? Wisdom takes time to develop, but consider some of your earlier experiences and whether this value was a prominent aspect of your life.
How about your elders? Did asking specific questions related to how they handle life support help you cultivate specific areas for yourself?
In this conversation, I talk about some personal experiences related to wisdom and offer suggestions on how to cultivate it further. As with any value, it takes time, but the more you can self-reflect, the more you’ll understand the benefits of choosing to be wise.
Here are a few things I discuss:
Mistakes - Based on the severity of the mistake, it can allow you to make corrections and figure out what that situation was supposed to teach you.
Personal Observations - What are the things you see from others helping you learn how to handle circumstances better? The more you can read the room and gather more introspection, the better you’ll be able to pick up wisdom.
Slowing down your pace - I share the value in reducing the pace at which you handle situations. Learning to take a moment and understand how each situation affects you will lead you to approach things more thoughtfully.
Remember to let your values lead and healing follow.
